Nestled in the serene town of Aprica, Relais Villa Brioschi offers a charming escape with its grand old-world elegance and breathtaking mountain views. As I explored the property, I found myself enamored with the beautifully hand-painted ceilings in the dining room, where the buffet-style breakfast catered to both indulgent cravings and health-conscious choices. Staying with friends, we appreciated the unique rooms featuring flat-screen satellite TVs and free Wi-Fi, although the absence of some amenities, like hair dryers, was a slight inconvenience. The peaceful atmosphere, enhanced by a private garden and the proximity to skiing activities, created an inviting retreat perfect for nature lovers like myself. While certain details hinted at the need for restoration, the character of the villa shone brightly, evoking a nostalgic charm that echoed through its original fireplaces and tiled floors.
